Great location if you need to be close to the train station. I thought I was booking in city center which is probably what it is considered, but I should’ve booked in ville haute or old town.
In general the hotel was basic and tired. Our room was small and basic. Bathroom was tired and really small, the shower was really, really, really small. Our last day as we left our room, the staff was cleaning the room next to ours and the shower was double the size of ours, had we known we would have asked for another option at check in. You would think the staff might had offered another option given my husband is 6’8” or 2 meters.
Breakfast was very good and the cook was very accommodating and friendly! Breakfast was located in a bright, sunny area that also has a bar. We asked the front desk staff if they have an evening happy hour and were informed the bar has not been open since Covid. The alcohol is still there, which I’m sure lasts forever. Oddly, they have a gumball type machine sitting on the bar with peanuts in it. Makes you wonder how old are those peanuts? Or is it Luxembourgish to eat peanuts with
