Elegante is always a top choice for my family when visiting Lubbock. The suites are great size and the breakfast is the best with fresh food, fruit, made to order omelets.
My 3 star rating is due to our room experience which has to be the worst room I’ve stayed in, in any hotel chain including Elegante in the last 10 years.
Our king bed was the shape of a V, and very uncomfortable. The shower head had so much hard water the water flow was extremely bad, don’t dare wash your hair, it’ll take forever to get the soap out. Then lastly, the A/C in the ceiling dripped consistently on the carpet so it was very wet. While that did not impact as much, I’m sure will cause problems for them later on with water damage.
Day 1 we informed the front desk, they glossed over what we shared. Day 2, we shared again with a new clerk who immediately contacted the on call person but not much could be done, it was late and we wanted to go to bed. Day 3, we left early and got a call if we wanted to change rooms we could (previous nights were sold out). We opted to not change the room for our last night as we would not return until late evening and too much work.
Elegante needs to take the time to assess their rooms to ensure they are up to their standards. I will now consider other options when returning to Lubbock.
