A warm welcome awaits you at Gumtree Cottage, a modern fully self-contained property nestled amongst the countless gumtrees on this 18 acre rural site.

Located only 10 mins from Hermitage road, the gateway to the wineries and renowned restaurants, the property is ideally suited to couples, young families & friends alike wishing to explore all that this stunning region has to offer.

Guests are invited to relax in the private hot tub, stroll down to the dam, where you can enjoy a fire pit, with wood & firelighters provided with our compliments. Blankets and cushions are also provided for your added comfort.

Sunset and sunrise can be enjoyed either from the hot tub which is at the rear of the property which is fenced or from the seating area and if you are lucky you can watch the local kangaroos grazing at both dawn and dusk.

At the time of booking, guests can request up to 2 well behaved, house trained dogs. Please refer to the policy relating to dogs prior to booking and provide details of the dogs you will be bringing in your booking request.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cottage, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and a stovetop. There's a private patio. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a DVD player is provided for your entertainment. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

Adrian's property was the perfect tranquil get away in the quieter area of the Hunter Valley. Everything we needed for a great stay was provided and Adrian was very welcoming and helpful. Hot tub, fire pit, beautiful (quiet) local walks and plenty of wildlife to see. If you are looking to get away from it all and slow down, we highly recommend booking a stay here. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Calming peaceful getaway

This little home is a beautiful place to stay. The quiet and peace was exactly what we needed. Far enough away from the bustle of towns, but still close enough to all our needs. The spa was so relaxing and we loved the kangaroos. The only things Id add would be to provide little extras such as a box of tissues, face washers, and (if able at all) add a mini bench top oven that can be stored in the cupboard. We just wanted to chill at the house and not do much touristy things, which meant cooking there. So no oven limited our choices. But these are little things, and our overall time was just amazing. We loved every minute there and got the relaxation we very much needed. Thanks Adrian for letting us stay in your beautiful place!!

A really beautiful spot

We had a lovely stay at Adrian’s place. The house was super clean and everything we needed. If we had to suggest anything, it would be useful to have an iron or hairdryer available in the property, but we didn’t expect it and had a lovely time regardless. The spa was pristine and we had a lovely time relaxing under the stars - thank you so much!

Let the good times roll

We took our two dogs to stay and we had a great time! The place was clean and tidy and the yard was a nice good size for them. The area was also beautiful. Some kangaroos were always nearby too. :)

Very clean and new, convenient location

Very new and clean property with cozy home feel. An independent house shared driveway with nice owner. has its own fenced yard with spa, bbq and some gress area for dog.
