The front desk staff were not very friendly or welcoming. We’d asked for a king bed in our reservation and when we questioned receiving 2 beds, the response was rude. The next day, when attempting to check out, a different person at the front desk ignored us. The parking and breakfast were the most convenient and positive things we can say about the property. The beds were comfortable, but the room & bathroom were not very clean. A dirty washcloth left in the shower. Not impressed with the staff. Customer service was poor. (We stayed at a holiday Inn in Williamsburg a few days prior and the staff there was so much better.)

A few blocks from 4th Street, so the location is the perfect walking distance from all varieties of restaurants and the river. Absolutely no view at this hotel, but were facing the Louisville Slugger Museum, so he thought the large baseball bat coming out the top of the building was cool. The room and bathroom looked newly renovated. Very spacious and clean. Dove products in the shower at at the bathroom sink. The staff was so friendly. Management was nice, as well. Expedia sold us a king bed, but we got 2 queens instead. It wasn't mentioned to us at check-in however, but it didn't break our night there. The beds were extremely comfortable. Pillows were so-so. The comforter rocked. I got up too late for breakfast, but he walked down for coffee. He said it looked like we would have skipped it anyway, as it looked sub-par (frozen/thawed eggs, sausage, etc). Their paid parking was in a separate garage right next to the property. Expedia charged $9, but I think Holiday Inn, had we booked direct, was $20/night. We'd stay again if we visited Louisville, as the price on Expedia was resonable.

Over charged. Booking was made in January for a stay in March. The hotel then over charged me by $58 for the stay. Seems dishonest to make a reservation at one rate then overcharge when the guest stays at the hotel.

Nice hotel but won't be staying at one again as i prefer 2 separate rooms for a family stay. Breakfast closed at 9 which seemed early and was for my teens.

Helpful and comfy

The woman at the front desk when we checked in was incredibly helpful as we have never been to the area. She helped with advice for parking and where to walk and not walk after dark. So kind.
