A few blocks from 4th Street, so the location is the perfect walking distance from all varieties of restaurants and the river.
Absolutely no view at this hotel, but were facing the Louisville Slugger Museum, so he thought the large baseball bat coming out the top of the building was cool.
The room and bathroom looked newly renovated. Very spacious and clean.
Dove products in the shower at at the bathroom sink.
The staff was so friendly. Management was nice, as well. Expedia sold us a king bed, but we got 2 queens instead. It wasn't mentioned to us at check-in however, but it didn't break our night there.
The beds were extremely comfortable. Pillows were so-so. The comforter rocked.
I got up too late for breakfast, but he walked down for coffee. He said it looked like we would have skipped it anyway, as it looked sub-par (frozen/thawed eggs, sausage, etc).
Their paid parking was in a separate garage right next to the property. Expedia charged $9, but I think Holiday Inn, had we booked direct, was $20/night.
We'd stay again if we visited Louisville, as the price on Expedia was resonable.
