Our visit occurred during and due to a large event in the area which clearly impacted this hotel. When we arrived for check-in around 9:30 p.m., our room type was not available as housekeeping was struggling to keep up with the check-outs. The desk agent offered to upgrade us to a king suite with pull-out couch instead but we didn't feel that would work well for us so we asked how long we would need to wait but another guest was also checking in and started getting upset that he was in the same situation as us. Our agent was able to find us a queen double, but I opted to give that up to the other guest and we took the king suite. His desk agent thanked me repeatedly, our desk agent and the other guest said nothing (oh well).
Our suite was located very close to the lobby, stairwell and elevator so we were concerned about foot traffic noise, but we really didn't hear much. The heating/cooling unit in our room was very noisy, but other than that the room was fine. Clean, well stocked, decent pillows.
