Friendly and accommodating staff. Very clean! EXCELLENT food, providing a variety of foods (although the desserts weren't the best but I am not a dessert person)! There was always pool activities going on although the night shows were cheesy and disappointing. We went into San Jose and Cabo by taking Uber which were both great places to visit! The gym was terrible but had enough to maintain light exercise for vacation. We had trouble with our room lock but staff was quick to try to fix it and provided compensation. You could not go into the ocean water anywhere close, but we managed to go in up to our knees which was good for us.

Overall this place is good. I just want to put few feedback in this place. Kids play ground; the big slides. The running water was low and slow. My 10 years was stuck in the slides. She had to kept pushing herself down. Sure need some upgrade on around and new paints. Secondly, wish the room were more lively. Room looks old, needs better paints. Even though I see the staff painting the hallways and doing work.

The hotel grounds were clean, all the staff at the bars and the wait staff in the restaurants were very kind and eager to please. I also used the spa and Wendy was wonderful in the spa. The food quality at the breakfast buffet was good but not so much for lunch. I was not happy with my room but only because the jacuzzi was not functioning properly the first 3 nights we were there. Tried to resolve with the concierge and reception each day. They would not offer a rate reduction. The hot water in the tub was coming out brown and the jets were shooting out gunk. This heavily impacted our stay.

I chose this resort based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was very different. I traveled with my daughter, and from the moment we checked in, the service was disheartening. The front desk staff was not welcoming, and instead of assisting us with our luggage, we were told to retrieve our own bags from a locked closet—something I’ve never experienced at any resort. Throughout our stay, we felt unwelcome, especially at the dining areas and poolside. The servers made it clear they didn’t want to serve us, and we were met with unfriendly stares and negative body language. I even had to call guest services because our room was not fully ready upon arrival. I reported several concerns about staff behavior, and although they apologized and said they would send something to our room as a gesture, nothing ever came. I'm currently in the process of buying property in Mexico, and while my Spanish is still improving, I tried my best to communicate. Still, I felt like the staff was annoyed by my presence, which was incredibly disheartening in a place I consider a second home. On top of that, the shower and sink in our room were clogged, and to make matters worse, we saw a homeless man bathing in the kids’ pool. The lack of security throughout the property made us feel unsafe. The constant stares and cold treatment from some staff made me feel intimidated and uncomfortable, almost as if I was being bullied. Was a cute little resort. Has a little store, a buffet by the pool and a pizza stand for afternoon munchies. The breakfast buffet has an omelet station that is pretty good. Was able to book the sinners we wanted through the hell seak downstairs in the lobby but had problems booking online. The restaurants menus are pretty good with ZAI being the best. The nightly buffet isn't the best but I don't think any resort I've gone to has a fantastic buffet. The beach is in Sel Cabo which you can't swim in and didn't know that prior to booking. The pool is nice and the swim up bar will definitely give you your monies worth. Has a nightly show or karaoke for entertainment with afternoon little events by the pool. Overall, too bad at all.
