This is a really nice property. Staff were friendly, rooms and property were clean, nice selection of adult beverages and food, and fun for the kids. We did have a couple instances where our toilet paper and towels weren't replaced, but those are small things. Nice overall and would visit again!

I arrived one day later than planned due to an airline delay. Before arrival, I called the hotel to explain the situation and was told my reservation would be noted. However, when I checked in, I was informed I had to pay for an additional night — effectively charging me for a night I did not stay, on top of the original missed night-so i paid 2 extra night that i wasnt there. I explained that I had notified the hotel in advance and that I was actually staying one night less than the original booking, but I was told I had no choice if I wanted to check in. I understand being charged for the first night as a no-show under the policy. What I do not find reasonable is being charged an extra night when my actual stay was shorter, especially after providing advance notice. This felt unfair and not in line with standard hospitality practices. I am requesting a refund/adjustment for the additional night that I paid in extra as I clearly communicated my delayed arrival ahead of time and the hotel was aware of the situation. I understand the night that I missed couldnt be refundable

We had a wonderful experience. From the beginning to the very end, the staff was very informative and courteous. Room was very spacious for us four and the ocean view from our private balcony was spectacular! Alberto, our bellman was outstanding. He made us laugh and feel comfortable from the beginning of arrival to the very end of our stay. I did get food poisoning the last day which was terrible because everything was going great so far! We also did have to request room cleaning a few times throughout our stay due to incomplete restocking of things like toilet paper and hand towels. Those were minor issues we had. It overall, we loved it here. The pictures online match exactly what the resort looks like so we appreciated that too. Some places do that nowadays, unfortunately. We will definitely recommend this place to others and would come back to Hyatt Ziva!

First time ever we had a bell man point our way to our room from the lobby after our private check in. Thought that was very weird. Hotel is nice. Room was good other than the fact we were on the 6th floor and the elevator couldnt have been farther away due to the blocked off access right by our room. Heard workers from midnight on out in the hallway.

Beautiful resort! Very friendly staff, the room was nice and clean with a beautiful view of the ocean. The restaurants and buffet were just great! Only thing i wished they had was a gift shop within the resort.
