We are very generous with stars but we are giving Quality Inn Montebello only 3 stars so that they work to find improvements. No.1, there was a weird smell inside room 433. I thought i was the only one who noticed it but my whole family smelled it. No. 2, we were there 4 nights, everytime we go home from outside we have to reactivate our room keys. First 2 nights, room 433 and 435 we could not go in without reactivating our key cards from frontdesk. Very inconvenient. 3rd night and 4th night we knew what to do. Go to lobby first to reactivate before going straight to rooms. Morning after eating same thing. We go to desk to reactivate lol No.3, fridge at room 433 does not make food and drinks cold. Breakfast crew was awesome. All of them very helpful and nice. Smiled all the time. Same with 4th floor housekeeper. Very pleasant.

This is place is not Choice Hotel standard. It has a bad smell. The elevator sounds like it is about to break down. The trash cans in the front of the building are overflowing with trash II could go on and on. Do not stay here
