Purchased a King size room, a bit smaller than preferred, no fridge and practically forced to use valet parking that cost $58/night because there’s no street parking. There’s an Additional $35 “destination fee” that I was unaware of. No access to 8th floor. Was told to pay additional $100 for pool service. Need to use Marriott AC hotel to access microwave and rooftop bars. Staff was nice.

Overall I had a negative experience at the Moxy. When I checked in the staff member informed me I had only purchased a room with a view when in fact, I had purchased a corner room with view. to make matters worse there were no rooms available at the time and I had to wait 30 mins in the lobby for a room to be cleaned. I was offered a double queen bed room instead and fought for what I rightfully purchased almost 3 months ago. I am unsure if there’s a coding error between the moxy and expedia but the room that I bought on expedia did not reflect the room i bought on the moxys system. Even after showing my receipt that clearly said corner with view the staff member was not helpful. The rooms were small, the sink area is extremely small and cramped for 2 people, and overall the room has very clear damage. Overall I wish I went somewhere else, and I will be next time I visit LA.

Amazing

From check in to check out, the staff were so nice, i like how they have clubs there on the 8th floor which is super convenient. The room was nice with a beautiful view. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will return again!
