I really like the property and how close it was to the beach. I could walk there within a 35 minute radius there was restaurants local there was parking that kept everything safe. The room was clean. I was able to book with two beds for me and My Son. The staff was friendly and the cleaning stuff was amazing. The only thing I have to say is that it does get loud. You can hear everything when somebody shuts the door to people talking outside in the hallways or when the main door does shut and locks behind people when they come in to the hallway to go find their hotel room. I am assuming this is due to the age of the building. Other than that, everything was fabulous.
Room was really clean. Shower had a open shampoo and no counter space… maybe floating shelves would be great by the sink. Room was so small and did not look nothing in size like the image so we felt it was overpriced. Comforter was a weird material as if it was just a thin piece of foam. Parking at top was very limited and hard to maneuver, but they have parking in the garage for $15 per night. Our room was by the front street and the homeless keep yelling and talking all night. The office staff is great and the room was really clean!!!
Location is noisy with a lot of traffic. Amenities lacking, no coffee, hair dryer or iron. Cigarette smoke seeps into the room from smokers standing by AC vent and smoking. I will not be booking it ever.
Surprise its not a bad spot at all ! Just remodeled. Its an older building but not bad for the price ! Definitely would stay again . Work trucks not a friendly spot but if u get there early enough u can park up top . Maybe 6 spaces so very limited! But if u got a regular car or truck u can park underground and its secure
We had the suite and it was perfect for a night with the family. This was the lowest price in the area so expectations have to align with what you are paying. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. They have underground parking with a gate so pretty safe. Neighbourhood isnt great, there was a homeless man sleeping outside the front entrance when we left in the morning. I am pretty certain he tried to get in the communal hallways to the rooms during the night but the door only opens with the key cards. The rooms are not very sound proof, we could hear people above and any noise in the hallway. I wouldnt mind staying a night or two again for the price
All the comments below should be taken with a grain of salt and be considered with the understanding of the price point. This is not the Four Seasons, nor is it priced like the Four Seasons. It is inexpensive and for our money, the pluses definitely outweighed the negatives considering what we were paying for our stay.
Pluses. Updated Rooms and clean. The rooms were fairly recently redone and are nice. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Oddly there is no closet but people probably aren't staying that long so not a big deal. The parking lot below the Inn was spacious and we felt very safe leaving our car there overnight. Minuses. You have to ask for ice at the front desk and when I went to get some in the morning the office was closed so I had to come back half an hour later. Then when I was handed a small bag of ice it obviously had been partially melted, then refrozen because what we got was basically a ball of ice about the size of a small kids sized soccer ball. The only other real negative is the property itself is older and we unfortunately had a room (111) that was on the ground floor and the only window was basically on top of the the reception area parking lot. We only opened the drapes once and then kept them closed when we realized that if we left them open someone could literally step out of their car stand 2 inches from our window and watch us. Other than putting up some privacy screens I can't think what else they can do to prevent this
