Easy check in, close to the carnival cruise terminal. They had a free shuttle to take you to the cruise terminal in the morning. The room was nice with a good ocean view. When we arrived the gate to get into the parking lot was not working we had to wait for an attendant to come let us in. We were also not informed about the shuttle upon check in I only knew to ask about it based on other reviews. The shuttle is also supposed to have an option to take you the downtown area where shops and restaurants are but I was told it the driver had to the day off so we were unable to use the shuttle the evening we arrived. Overall my experience was good and I would stay again

Room looked great. The room view was awesome, definitely coming back. The layout outside was amazing,.wanted to delay my flight and stay longer!!!! The Mayan Hotel is an absolutely beautiful hotel! The room was so beautifully decorated and it’s breathtaking views of the water and of the amazing outdoor spaces, truly transported us to a Mayan resort in Mexico. The Mayan Hotel truly made our local weekend stay feel like a magical getaway, and allowed us to have a honeymoon 5-star experience. Thank you Mayan Hotel ❤️

Check in was not welcoming and had someone training and they didn’t know the hotel $45 fee for parking, but a non hotel guest will get there’s comped if they eat in the hotel restaurant but the the hotel guest Restaurant food was maybe a 5/6 out of 10 and $$$$ waitress was about the same. Gratuity is automatically added to your bill so they don’t have to try and do a great job They have one tower completely empty with fire alarm going off in it and sitting by the fire outside this is all you hear and know one working there seemed to be bothered by it Positive is the view is great Room was decent but not sound proof

The bed was very uncomfortable, the shower curtains smelled very bad, and the food at the Fuego restaurant was not good. I really was hoping for a better experience. I only give it 2 stars for the view and decor in the lobby.

We had a wonderful stay. Hotel was just like the pictures. I did pay for water view and technically we saw the water but like a little triangle and saw more of the bar/restaurant and water over that. So that would’ve been great to be more detailed. We did book last minute.
