Disliked: Cleanliness
Location was amazing, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Street parking was not a problem. We couldnt check in until 4 but waited to 430 and upon arrival the unit had not been cleaned. Dirty towels hanging in the bathroom and in the bathtub, bed sheets not changed, bed not made, dirty/used blankets on the couch. I called and texted the host with no response. We loaded all our bags back into the car and not sure how to proceed. One hour after first attepmts to get ahold of the host, I called again. She did answer and told me the unit had been cleaned and after I told her I took pictures she said she would send someone over. When we went back there was a Windex bottle and dirty paper towels on the table in the bedroom. I am not opposed to cleaning up after me, but I am not going to clean someone else's germs. The host did not seem concerned and offered nothing for our inconveniences. You can guarantee if you're late to check out, you're going to get charged extra, but nothing if you're inconvenienced and cannot check in at your reserved time. I understand sometimes people run late, but no communication was made to let us know. At the end of the day, we still had a good time, just a heads up you might not get in when you're supposed to and the unit may not have been cleaned.
