The room was newly renovated, the kitchen excellent. The bath and beds great. Dining area good. Everything clean and new. Some kitchen utensils were absent. The area is Hollywood, so street people are on every street. The property entrance was very secure, meaning no characters were close by. The Fenix is just across the road from Outpost Drive, a hilly climb into one of the most posh Hills neighbourhoods, with access to Runyon Canyon Trail— if it is not closed due to fire risk. Fenix is beside a busy road. Being an older building the traffic noise gets through. Rush hour and late night drivers with motorcycles and cars were loudish— on the front side of the property. The rooftop patio and pool at the back of the property were a plus.

If your goal is weird and noisy….

This was a weird experience. No front desk. 17 different codes to get into the building and only 1/2 of them worked. My room lock did not work with code given but I was given another code that worked. The front door gate code did not work. As for the room, it was nice, no issues, but being off the Main Street meant no good sleep. I would not recommend staying here as you have lots of other options.

Perfect for getting to and from the Hollywood Bowl! A but loud as it was close to a busy street but AC unit created white noise to deal with that. Secure and safe. Excellent staff response and support.

Note this property it's not a regular hotel, meaning no front desk or room service, you are going to get like 3 different codes to enter the facility, if you don't mind that property is nice and location is fantastic right on the heart of Hollywood, walking distance to Restaurants and entertainment

New furnishings. Room was quite noisy throughout the night due to hallway noise. The door is thin and has a large gap at the bottom so all hallway noise in the busy apartment building/hotel to enters the room.

The property is in a good location for seeing some of the key sights in LA including Hollywood and Beverly Hills. We could walk to the Hollywood Bowl. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. The room was large and very clean. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave but there were no plates, utensils or proper cups which could easily be included. Our room was facing a busy road which was noisy and there was an alarm on in the lobby for many hours. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. I would consider staying here again if we had a room further away from the main road.

Comfortable, well appointed, love the in-room laundry and great communication prior to arrival. Really appreciated the early check-in they were able to accommodate this time around.
