Pet friendly accommodation in Lordelo do Ouro

Is not my type of hotel concept I’m a window hotel person hate to be in close spaces whoever like the concept is excellent not for me though -/ staff in the restaurant very dry and unapproachable if you’re not seating to eat in the restaurant

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my husbands birthday and chose it because it had a gym and swimming pool. We made aware when we checked in that the gym was closed for maintenance. There was nothing about this on the website when I booked. It was supposed to open during our stay, but it didn’t. Very disappointing. The rooms were quite big but surprised that we had to pay 4euros for a bottle of water! There was a lot of choice at breakfast but the cooked items under lights were cold. You could have freshly cooked eggs which was quite nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t say it was 5 star - 4 star at the most.
