Great restaurant, tired hotel

The facilities are a bit tired and the beds are really soft. We changed rooms from the spa house to the main house after 2 nights. The bed was marginally better/newer and the room was a bit fresher. The reception staff were empathetic to our problem with the beds, but told us all the beds are the same. From the spa we only used the outdoor hot tub and the indoor pool. The hot tub was not so hot and the pool was quite warm. The breakfast spread is good, hot food included. But they stop refilling it for the later seatings so you may not get bacon if you're not an early riser. The restaurant for dinner was the highlight. Excellent food and friendly staff. While the whisky selection large, the regular bar staff aren't very knowledgable about it. So do your research ahead of time (and watch the price list!) or be sure to come when they're offering a scheduled tasting (presumably this would be better, but there were no tastings during our stay so I can't say for sure).

Our new favourite hotel

What a wonderful hotel to stay! So great swimming pool and jacuzzi bath! Free refreshments by the pool ... Great amenity, Bath robe and slippers.... Good AC (air conditioning), very clean and nice. We loved this place and from now on we always would like to come to stay in this hotel. It’s a new our favourite place to spend our free time. Additionally this hotel takes Covid19 so seriously, that it’s very clean and for breakfast and fitness or wellness, you must book time in order to avoid too many people at the same time. They clean dining-tables very often with disinfectant liquid (consideration for Corona). We felt very safe at this hotel.

Trevligt hotell med frÀsch SPA-avdelning med lite soft musik, rekommenderas. God mat och frÀsch frukost. Rymligt rum med balkong/terass, dock lite dammigt och bara nÄgra lampor fungerade i rummet. Toppen med kylskÄp pÄ rummet. Utomhusrestaurangen mysig ocksÄ, dock har de mycket fÄglar dÀr som bajsar pÄ stolarna. Vi tittade ÀndÄ noga innan vi satte oss, nÀr vi reste oss hade min man fÄgelbajs pÄ skjortans rygg pÄ flera stÀllen...syntes inte pÄ de svarta stolarna
