Disliked: Cleanliness
Cleanliness was a concern during our stay. The couch was very worn and stained, and there was a noticeable mold or mildew odor throughout the home. I have photos documenting these conditions.We were also uncomfortable with outdoor cameras positioned toward the hot tub area. The hot tub and sauna were the main reason we chose this property. In addition, the hot tub directly faces a neighboring house, which already limits privacy. We were not aware of cameras directed toward this space prior to arrival.After contacting VRBO customer service, we were advised that cameras facing private-use areas like a hot tub should be clearly disclosed in the listing. We were also told they recommended the host consider a refund and that they were reviewing the camera placement.When we initially contacted the host, we did not receive a response. After mentioning that we planned to leave a review, the host asked what refund amount we would accept in exchange for not posting one.The beds were very comfortable and we liked the area, but improvements in cleaning and privacy would greatly improve the experience.
