I love staying here & tell everyone! I have only 3 gripes but I feel management need to know about them. When cleaners clean the long sinks with plugs under a ledge, in the shared WC area, they remove all of the hair & detritus from each of the long sinks, or it’s from the showers? And leave it there & go on to the next… this hideous sight greets you at 6am, when I felt really unwell & there wasn’t a sink I could use without long gunky wet black hair strewn in it. Would it not be possible for one sink at a time to be cleaned & left for use please? Also on the topic of cleaning sadly, the capsules are beautifully made up when each occupant checks out. Many of us were present on the females only floor & unfortunately witnessed the routine from our beds. The bedding is pulled out, the mattress is lifted & any bits of rubbish or lost property are emptied out onto the floor. And left there. A manager takes a photo of each capsule upon completion. But said nothing as we watched in utter disbelief as the cleaner made the bed, clean white sheet on the matress but kneeling on it with the dirty soles of her trainers flat on the sheet! The actual floor was filthy with the dirt & detritus from each capsule & this shocked us. She rubbed off the trainer prints but who knows what germs are left on the bed! could the floor not be vacuumed along the way or better still the cleaner wear crocs & slip them off when entering the capsule & having their feet sole down in socks instead? Thank you x

The pods look great & are comfortable but every time the door to the bathroom shut it slamed shut & tge pod shook & the noise was ridiculous. Its still a building site with trip hazards on the fire escapes & the electric room was unlocked. One of the lifts was out of order on Sunday & tge card writer didn't work on Saturday. The showers are badly designed as all the floor gets wet so nowhere dry to stand. Some toilet seats were broken. This place will look terrible in a year or two due to very bad design & cheap materials.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my most recent (3 night) stay. After my first night, my capsule was cleaned in error whilst I was out, and it seems the property I left in my cabin during the day (including toiletries, food, and pyjamas) were disposed of. This made my final two nights very uncomfortable, as well as a lot of wasted time trying to resolve. The property also appears to have no cold water available - the cold water taps in the bathroom only seemed to produce hot water (and when I overheard another customer complaining at the front desk, the only solution offered was to buy cold water externally if needed). Again, this made for an uncomfortable stay (especially when trying to brush your teeth or fill a water bottle during the night). No resolution has been offered by the property.

Was super clean, pod and bathrooms. Liked the security aspects, both lockable areas, entry and people. Pod had everything you needed, a cosy space and roomier than expected. Location 10 secs walk from Piccadilly Circus was second to none. Guests respectful of sleep time. Staff felt were there to help. Small suggestion, could there be a hot drinks vending machine too? To my great surprise, am a pod/capsule/cocoon/coffin convert! Can’t wait to return.

Staff were great BUT the locks on the capsules were faulty. It created a delay. Staff tried their best to fix this issue and I ended up having to leave them to it as I had an appointment. Zedwell seriously need to get their capsule locks sorted as they are very difficult at the best of times to lock and then when the are faulty, it’s worse!

The capsule was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shared showers and toilet facilities were very clean, with cleaning staff seemingly operating around the clock. A small padlock is recommended if you want to leave belongings in your capsule while you are out. Excellent value if you're not claustrophobic.

Absolutely fantastic location, right in the centre of London Picadilly Circus, 5 minutes walk away from Carnaby Street and Soho. The dorm area is accessed by your keycard. The dorm was very quiet and peaceful at all times of the day. The room is a very small but comfortable sleeping quarter. Incredibly clever use of space, I felt secure and safe the whole time I was in the Zedwell Cocoon hotel. Take a padlock for the cocoon for when you’re leaving your belongings when you go out. The shutter locks from the inside when you go to sleep. Lovely and warm space with very quiet air conditioning unit. Security on the door was a very visible presence, guarding entrances to the hotel and reception. The bathroom and shower areas were a very pleasant, clean and a relaxing experience with calm, soothing music being pumped into the space. Body wash is provided in the showers and handwash in the sink areas. Both at check in and checkout the staff were extremely helpful, assisting in the (relatively simple) process however very much appreciated for first time visitors. I would definitely stay again.

Rooms have “garage door” type of shutters for you privacy and security.
