Nice and helpful staff, easy check in, great location, room was exactly as listed. Thrilled there was proper A/C working. Could hear the underground but had a white noise machine so no issue. Clean, slept well. Very pleased with the complimentary wine and cheese offerings - that was a pleasant bonus.

Looks are deceiving

This room is a size of a jail cell. It’s okay for one individual with a backpack. As a couple, we didn’t even have enough space to open even one suitcase. Also, the washroom/shower has no privacy. It’s a tiny glass room. And the AC is not circulating the air properly. So, every time you walk into the room, it smells like a moist cellar.

Noisy, dark and cramped

I've stayed here before but not for some time. The room I had was in the basement without a window - which was fine as I'd booked one with no window. It was much more tired than I remember (it used to be relatively smart for a budget hotel). The Victoria Line appeared to run directly under my room, and when that wasn't running, there were trolleys being pushed over the ceiling of the room. I think I got about 2 hours sleep. Fine if you're young, out on the town or whatever. However, I was staying as I'm busy at work and needed to not have to commute. Simply dreadful experience and I won't be back.
