Good place to stay in Richmond

The hotel is conveniently located in walking distance from downtown Richmond and a short drive from Kew Gardens, Syon House and other historic attractions. The service was good and the room comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff

Fantastic hotel with excellent service - nothing was too much effort for the hotel staff. We were staying to visit Kew gardens and the whole hotel experience really elevated our trip. Would definitely recommend!

The property is very nicely looked anfter and finished to a very high spec. The staff were very professional and friendly. The hotel is perfectly situated in Richmond and is close to everything. The only downside was to discover that it costs £20 per night to park the car! However the cost of the hotel was reasonable so not a disaster. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return soon.

Third time staying at the hotel £10.00 early check-in is a joke, and charged for two days parking, this is my third stay at this hotel in less than twelve months has muddy my views on staying here again.

Overall not clean

The room wasn't clean. There was pubes in the shower door The sink wasn't cleaned The floor ripped my sock. The coffee machine only had 2/4 coffee pods. The staff on entrance were really friendly.

Classic Room review

Overall, my stay was okay. I was allocated a room on the Lower Ground floor. I could hear footsteps in the late evening from others staying at the hotel. No mini bar fridge to put cold drinks. Only terrestrial TV channels available. No facility for Apple iPhone users to screen mirror. Overall, had the feel of a basement. Positives: really friendly staff; nice clean room, nice hotel lobby, nice dining/bar area I got a bargain deal for a last minute stay. Maybe that’s why I was allocated the room I had.

Nice hotel/Poor service

The hotel was really nice but the service level was poor. They failed to refresh our room and said it was down to a staff shortage. There was no communication other than when we asked at the reception desk. It was a shame as the hotel and breakfast was good and we would use it again regardless.
