The room was dirty, the room smelt my colleague who stayed the night could not sleep at all. We have been issued a refund however both deposit and the money has not been refunded.

Het slot van de kamer zag er een beetje twijfelachtig uit. Maar na een snelle inspectie bleek dit prima te werken. De kamer oogde schoon, maar na wat beter te kijken bleek er een pleister van een vorige bezoeker op de grond te liggen, samen met allerlei andere troep en stofresten onder het bed. Op een van de muren zat een vieze vlek. Op de kast ligt een dikke laag stof en troep. De badkamer ruikt muf. De afvoer van de douchebak loopt slecht door. Het verwijderen van de afdekkap helpt het wegspoelen van het water. Maar er blijven plassen staan in de douchebak. De wastafel is nauwelijks geschikt om (zonder te knoeien) je handen te wassen. De gehorigheid van het verblijf is enorm. De buren kun je horen praten. De gedeelde douche van andere buren kun je horen, als of het in je eigen kamer plaatsvind. Het personeel is aardig en behulpzaam. Achteraf gezien had ik qua locatie een andere locatie willen opzoeken. Mijn fout. Met de bus 60+ minuten naar het centrum van Londen. Al met al: als je een goedkoop verblijf wilt hebben en het niet erg vind om wat tijd kwijt te zijn aan reizen, dan is dit een optie die aan alle eisen voldoet. Slapen, sanitaire voorziening, wassen, eventueel je eigen maaltijd klaar maken in de gezamenlijke keuken. Alles is aanwezig. Of alles zo schoon is zoals thuis??
