Cancelled & replaced with substandard unit, twice

This property reservation was cancelled by mgr, no replacement offered. Found another vrbo but it was cancelled at time I landed in Heathrow. Option to replace offered but it was a bait & switch. Never would stay in such an unfinished dump. Wound up going to Marriott for stay.

The property was hard to find and then we discovered it was unavailable. The host never responded to texts or calls until 3.5 hours after our arrival time. Then the host blamed VRBO's calendar. This person should not host properties. They are unreliable. Also, if VRBO is causing scheduling conflicts, the host should identify this and take care of it. They had plenty of time as we had the reservation for over a month.

We stayed at this property with my family, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is excellent, offering easy access to central London and all major attractions. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, accommodating all eight of us perfectly. We were very pleased with the high standard of service.
