The room was exactly what we needed; a nice comfy bed, clean amenities (that could be updated, but that's for another day), and a decent variety of breakfast options available. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Despite the spicy locals and the need to have a buddy when walking outside after dinner, I really appreciated having a good spot for a decent price. Thank you!

The worst part, which is not really the hotel's fault, there's a lot of homeless people along the street. It's not just a few people. It's a few dozen at least. Hotel itself is average. Staff do their job, but fail to go above and beyond. I would say it's a low end to average hotel, that can do better in quite a few ways.

The room was clean but very outdated and needs some renovation/updates. Facing Dundas Street, it was very noisy. The black-out portion of the curtains to do pull shut, so too much light enters the room and makes it difficult to sleep. Arriving to the hotel was confusing in regards to how to access the underground parking. There are no signs, and no prior advice to indicate that you must park your vehicle in the alleyway heading into the parking lot, THEN go inside to check in to receive your hotelroom key cards which also activate the parking garage gate. That part was the most frustrating. There were also many unhoused and addicted folks around the property as there is a community centre/living accommodations for this demographic, directly next door to the hotel.

The hotel was fine, no complaints for a three-star hotel so I knew what I signed up for, but the fact that there was a large number of homeless people in the parking lot and around the property, even though they were not causing any issues. It just felt very uncomfortable. I know this is a systemic problem, but the hotel also needs to take positive steps to improve the conditions around it, especially for those who have to walk early in the morning or late at night to access it.

The property was pretty standard. The rooms are a bit older and have been well used over time. Clean for their condition. The location of the hotel had a significant amount of homeless individuals on the same block with the main street, Dundas, being fairly dirty and smelling predominately of urine. The hotel experience was average but I would express caution in terms of the location.

Could be better

Very loud in my room, a lot of addicts around and strange noises kept me up all night. Bed was hard as well, bathrooms could use some updating. With the price for one night, I did expect more. People were friendly though, definitely not a staff issue.

Breakfast is great. Front desk was nice. There are homeless peoples out at all hours right next door. Felt a little unsafe venturing out walking. And was worried about the vehicle with the parking and homeless people around. We had a bigger vehicle and had to park outside so was worried about the vehicle getting broken into. The rooms are spacious and comfortable beds.

This is a clean well maintained hotel close to key places like the local arena, where they have concerts, wrestling shows, junior hockey games, and a 15 minute walk or short cab from the VIA rail station. It is next door to a homeless shelter which might bother some, but I didn't have any issues. I would stay here again if I was going to a show.

Good accommodations. The desk in the room had something sticky on it and clearly wasn’t cleaned well. The house of hope is next door and there were about 20 people sleeping on the sidewalk outside and who harassed me when pulling in the parking lot. Though, I did expect more issues.
