While we understand that sometimes cups or plates get accidentally broken, we always appreciate notice of such instances immediately. Your honesty and willingness to replace or financially compensate for such instances are greatly appreciated. This provides us with the time to remedy the situation prior to the next guest checking in without the need to scramble at the last minute after it is discovered at the guest's check-out day and time.
Any extra cleaning required due to guests leaving the suite in a poor state will result in extra charges being passed onto the guest(s) that caused the reason for extra cleaning/dry cleaning/steam cleaning. Any fees lost due to lost booking days for repairs/extra cleaning to said damage will also be charged to the guest.
Damage to the unit will incur extra costs to the guest(s) as well as any fees lost due to missed or days that have to be blocked off from bookings for repairs to said damage will be reimbursed by the guest to the host.
All items within the suite are accounted for after every checkout by our team. Yes, this means every fork, knife, spoon, plate, cup, glass, bedding, pillow, towel, etc. Removal of items will result in a replacement cost recuperated from the guest, plus 20% to cover the wages of the team member who needs to go purchase a new item(s) prior to the next guest arriving. As an example, when a fork is removed from the suite, a single fork from the original set can not just be replaced, an entirely new set needs to be purchased. If a single fork, knife, or spoon is needed, please feel free to take one from the plastic ones that are also provided for guests. We appreciate your understanding in this matter, as we endeavor to keep our suite at its very best for our guests at all times.
Our guests are however welcome to take with them any provided flyers for local restaurants, or tourist pamphlets that we provide, as we do have replacements readily on hand, and we purposefully provide these exclusively for our guests to have and enjoy.
Guests have two hours from their check-in to notify the host of any issues. Should the guests wish to cancel their stay within the two-hour window, and the suite is left in a 10/10 condition by the guest, then one night will be charged vs two. Should the guest stay one night and wish to cancel their reservation, the two-night minimum applies, and no refunds. The remainder of the booked stay can be reimbursed provided that the suite is left in a 10/10 condition.
Unfortunately, this is not a wheelchair-accessible building.
There are two steps up to the back door, and there are three flights of steps to the "third/top floor" to get to the suite. Therefore "Must Climb Stairs" no matter what.
The building is a few houses away from Wortley Road and the famous "Wortley Village" scene. Voted one of the top three places to live in Canada. Come see for yourself!
