Great hotel in Shoreditch

Great modern hotel in Shoreditch. Ideally located, convenient rooms and good service. I would go there again. Breakfast was also very nice.

Comfortable Beds / 3 Star Hotel

Pros: Top 3 comfortable beds and bedding. Pillows were firm and quality. Staff was friendly but not necessarily welcoming. Rooms clean and new. It's in a youthful, urban, energetic area with a lot of restaurants and bars. Cons: No counter space to speak of. In the two rooms we stayed in, the single shelf was 3 inches deep. Bedside "tables" were no more than 8x8 inches wide. In the king room there is less than 2.5 feet of passable space between the foot of the bed and the wall in you don't count the 3 inch deep "shelf" that gets in your way. Only room for one person to pass at a time. Rooms are terrible for those with mobility issues. Hotel is almost ½ mile from closet metro - Old Street. Despite the staff being somewhat friendly, there's no personal service. A solid 3 star hotel at best. Gym is tiny. Room for one person at a time.

I would return!

Good location, clean trendy rooms and great breakfast. The room service hours were very limited though and check in and check out needs to be done on a machine - something elderly guests might not be keen on
