The flat is exactly as described and appears in photos, deserving of all reviews giving it 10, as we do now, having month in it. It is modern/clean, with great hot water and rainshower head in the tub. Though we did not need it often (Springtime) the heat is provided by big, cast iron radiators producing tremendous heat on demand. The appliances are first rate, and in excellent condition. I particularly liked having a gas range, with its nice, large exhaust hood, which is what I have at home. The dishwasher, clothes washing machine, and the separate clothes dryer work perfectly. Quality of life is perfect when in the apartment, not a busy street at all and, therefore, very quiet during all hours of the day and nighttime. There are two tube stations within a 7-12 minute walk, providing speedy access to all areas of London. At the closer one, West Hampstead, there is also a Thameslink (train) station, which we used a few times. On average, from the time of walking out the door, we would arrive at a destination within 20-30 minutes, depending on its location. Also, within a 1-10 minute walking, there are at least 6-8 bus stops, which we also used. As a host-owner, Simon was superb. Whether posing a question to him or seeking his advice, he responded very quickly. His written restaurant recommendations was very helpful. If prospective London tourists want location, comfort, quality to discover or revisit London, look no further than this apartment.
