The room was very clean and tidy, the ensuite was compact but perfectly acceptable. The only issue for me was the room was very hot, they provided a fan but this barely touched the heat. Doesn't really detract from the stay though.

Friendly front desk staff. Room was clean. Location is good close to transport. Found it a bit noisy, our window backed onto the main road, could hear all the night crawlers but worst was the delivery vans at 5 am other than that everything else was good.

I’m unsure of why this hotel is rated “excellent.” It is far from that. It is just basic. No mirror anywhere other than bathroom and no outlet in bathroom to do hair. It’s very old and dated. Breakfast needs vegan options. Kind of away from a lot of the main attractions. Would not stay again. As I said, far from excellent

Great location right next to Hyde Park and Lancaster Gate Tube. The staff are lovely and the rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Good breakfast too. Met our needs for a busy short break.

Room was in good order. Bathroom was tight for space. No kleenex available. Love the midcentury modern vibe of the style of the hotel. The street was noisy if you wanted to sleep with the windows open. Breakfast had the usual choices but found the hot food was cold. The burners did not keep the food warm enough. Hotel is located in a quaint part of London and the Paddington Station tube was only a 5 minute walk. Lots of very good pubs and restaurant in the area. Kensington park was a 5 min walk as well.
