Poor property condition, but great staff and location. The property is located steps from Westminster Abbey, The Parliament, and multiple Tube and bus lines, making it very convenient to get around London and to all major sights. The condition of my room was terrible. The carpet was dirty and stained all over from years of use. I was afraid of this because there were several Google reviews with pictures of dirty orange carpets blackened with multiple stains. The shower doorframe had mold trapped in it, there was mold around the rim of the drain opening of the washbasin, and the paint on the wall behind the washbasin was cracked and peeling off. We alerted management of these issues after checking in, and they replaced the carpet and caulked the bottom edge of the shower the next day. Good, quick response, but management should be proactively checking on the condition of their rooms and doing the necessary replacement/upkeep on a timely basis, not waiting to do so only after getting customer complaints. For $300 per night, the condition of the rooms is completely unacceptable.

Although the room was compact, it was very clean and well appointed. The WiFi only worked with the TV on (as a hotspot), but that was only a minor inconvenience. The location was top-notch, a very short walk to the Tube and attractions. It always felt very safe as well.

We appreciated the location and proximity to many sites. We were in walking distance of Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and the London Eye. The rooms were very small, but also very quiet so it was easy to get rest. The hotel is very near St. James subway station. Upon arrival, we got off at Westminster Station. I would recommend people traveling with luggage to get to St. James Station. We also found a few very cute pubs close by with good food.

The room was a lot smaller than I expected, but my wife and I got used to it quickly. It was clean and so close to many major attractions and near several great restaurants. I highly recommended it.

Location! Room - small. If you are claustrophobic- skip. Breakfast - could be better, just basic. You’ll survive and enjoy the view if your room has the window. But the location is great! Close to everything.

SUPER LOCATION!! The room was a little tight, two sides of the King bed were against the corner of the room BUT it was a KING bed. You're in the room so little traveling that was not a huge issue. The location to the sites, Westminster, Big Ben, the Eye, Changing of the guard, Buckingham, could not be beat. Pubs close, access to the River and water UBER, try it, so amazing. Would definitely book again.
