Misleading - different apt. and location
Unfortunately, this listing was misleading. The address, area, and photos provided in the advertisement did not match the actual apartment we were given. After a long day of travel, we arrived at the stated check-in time and address only to find the apartment was occupied. I called the contact number in the listing five times before receiving a call back, at which point I was instructed—via WhatsApp—to go to a different location: a grocery store in Battersea. We waited there for another two hours before someone arrived to take us to a different apartment.
The apartment itself was acceptable but clearly lower quality than expected. It was clean, but very cheaply finished, and the air conditioning did not work in the main living area.
That said, the location—though not in Vauxhall as advertised—was in Battersea, which is a pleasant neighborhood. It’s conveniently located near Battersea Power Station, shops, dining options, and the park, with easy access to the Tube, Uber, and the Uber Boat.
Overall, while we appreciated the eventual accommodation and the neighborhood, the inaccurate listing and poor communication created unnecessary stress and a disappointing start to our trip.
