The hotel and its staff should be shut-down as it does not meet the hygiene or even appropriate living standards. They mention parking as free but charge £10 when you get there. Awful experience.

When arrived instantly got asked for £10 for parking when even though there isn’t a car park just parking on path outside front of hotel. Was clearly a care home previous and still smell like a care home. And top it off in the morning my Van was blocked in making me late for work!

I don't normally leave bad reviews, but feel I have to. I've stayed in many hotels and this has been the worst. As I checked in, I was greeted by an old, poorly permanent resident? As his door was open, the smell of ammonia filled the hotel. Contrary to the advert, parking is not free and didn't dare to enquire about the breakfast. After returning home, it seems I have been bitten from head to toe, due to the uncleanliness. I couldn't wait to leave, after having 2 hours sleep, with the most uncomfortable pillows and bed. This and the smell also, stopped me from taking any pictures, due to gagging and feeling very ill.

The bedroom window which was broken, couldn’t be shut and was facing the road. The sheet was visibly soiled in different places. There was hair in the bathroom and shower in more than one place. The tiles in the shower & the floor of the shower was visibly dirty and looked orange brown.

The worst hotel room I’ve ever had to stop in

the hotel is in a desperate state, rooms very tatty and outdated. I would not recommend anyone to book this hotel. it is full of council homeless tenants.

Hotel was not clean told us at the last min we had to pay for parking on there web site it says free breakfast which we got told when we was there that they stopped that there was so much noise from people above when they moved us to another room they had no tv remote so couldnt watch tv when asked we was told to get up and press the bottons then still didnt work properly rubbish left in the room no toilet paper never again

Poor qualitiy vs price

Definitely not a place that we will stay again. Poor service, expensive for what it is in offer. Very dated place, needs a good makeover. For the same price it is possible to find something better

This accommodation is unsafe and l definitely will not use or recommend. From the gaseous smell of urine in the room, to the open wires from the TV, to the bricklike pillows and dreadful shouting inside the building at 1-2 am.
