Fern's Cottage is a quaint little cottage, next to our home on six wooded acres in a gated neighborhood. Guests call it "peaceful" and "relaxing”.
A short drive to State Parks, Lake Maumelle and the Arkansas River, all with hiking and biking. Fern's Cottage is 6 miles from Pinnacle Mountain State Park where you can climb, hike, picnic, canoe and fish. 16 miles from Moss Mountain Farm, 8 miles from Enchanted Evening Event Center and 4 miles from Ferncliff Conference Center. It is also close to the Big Dam Bridge and Two Rivers Park, with biking, walking, jogging trails. Less than 10 miles from eateries and shopping areas. Close to area hospitals and businesses. After an active day, beautiful serenity of Fern's Cottage awaits you.

We had a great two-day stay in Little Rock. The cottage was super clean, tidy, and perfect for what we needed. Everything was provided, from kitchenware to a very functional bathroom. The blow dryer was a nice bonus, and the heated bathroom along with the AC worked perfectly during our stay.The full-size bed was doable, though a queen size would have been a bit more comfortable, but we still slept really well because the area was so quiet and private. We would definitely book again and plan to stay longer next time.The owner was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient — only about a 12-minute drive to major restaurants and stores. What we loved most was being close to Maumelle Lake for our fishing guide trip.The only small challenge was the paved driveway with our truck. It was manageable, but next time we’ll probably bring an SUV or smaller vehicle for easier maneuvering. Overall, five stars and very glad we found this spot!

Beautiful location! The host was gracious and the care for the property was noticed. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. Small notable point was that the shower head was phenomenal! Especially after a 20 mile hike in the rain. Close to food, but away from city lights.

We loved Fern’s Cottage! So sweet and cozy and the perfect distance to explore in Little Rock but still get out of the city. It was nice and clean, with so many amenities provided and the owners were helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend! Thank you Linda, Bob, and Memphis!

A wonderful place to stay near Little Rock

Very cozy, comfortable, and clean place to stay in a beautiful area in the hills near Little Rock. The hosts were very communicative and easy to work with. The location was conveniently located within a short drive to everywhere we needed to go for the wedding we had traveled to Arkansas to attend.

Adorable quiet retreat

We had the pleasure of staying in this cottage during spring time in Arkansas. The cottage itself is a MIL suite on a beautiful, impeccably maintained property located in a gated, secluded community a reasonably short drive from restaurants, bars, and downtown Little Rock. The drive up to the property is easy to navigate and provides views of rolling hills. The grounds are beautiful and covered in blooming flowers. The owner and their dog greeted us at the front of the property and were very helpful. The cottage is cute and has ample space for 2 people, very clean, plenty of sun light. Kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with accessories and even has a vanity for getting ready. They also provided a booklet full of hiking trail maps, list of well-liked restaurants and actives to do, and other helpful pamphlets. We were able to try out 3 of the restaurants on their list and were not disappointed by the recommendations! You will never see more stars during the night than you will out at this property. Highly recommend staying here for those wishing to be out of the way of the big city and looking to participate in outdoor activities! Recommendations in the area: red moon Tavern, pinnacle mountain state park, WXYX bar, buttered biscuit restaurant.

Perfect Gateway Outside of Little Rock

I had the most wonderful stay at this guest house! It was small but incredibly neat and well-kept, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were beyond amazing—truly some of the nicest people I've ever met. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed and made me feel right at home. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would—10/5 stars, no question! Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming getaway.

Beautiful and Relaxing

I had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and relaxing. It is the perfect location! Close to the city but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. The cottage was clean and had thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, quality bed sheets, towels, and pillows, and also had some coffees and teas that I enjoyed. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, provided me with a lot of information on the area. I was greeted by their friendly dog each time I arrived and left for the day. It was a lovely experience and if I return to LR, itll be the place I book. Many thanks!

Beautiful cottage in the middle of a forest!

What an amazing cottage, close to a lot of activities and it was perfect for our visit to Moss Mountain Farm, the hosts are wonderful people, and we can't wait to return, the cottage is luxurious and accommodating with a wonderful view and plenty of space, we visited many places during our little vacation but tried to return early to the cottage to enjoy the surrounding beauty, we just returned to Los Angeles and my daughter and I are already planning a return visit next Spring. Lovely Place to Stay

Beautiful and serene setting with in a cozy guest house next to the main property. Linda and Bob were fantastic hosts as well as the lovely Memphis who occasionally came by to say hi. Perfect stay place to stay that's close to the city while feeling secluded and removed from the city. Definitely would stay again. Highly recommended!
