Pleasantly surprised

I was pleasantly surprised. I went in with low expectations because of the low price and this not being a touristy area, The hotel was clean, new, spacious and the staff was very helpful.

This Hotel is absolutely gorgeous!! You go to the 4th floor to ck in- the views up there are just amazing and beautiful!! We ate wings that night since we got there about 730 pm and ate in their Bar/Grill/Restaurant- oh my gosh the wings- boneless - were soo good!! The people that took care of us in there at where we ate were so nice and friendly!! The lady that checked us in that night was just so nice and sweet- she is certainly an Asset to The Elm as are the people that waited on us to eat!! One thing everyone needs to see in that restaurant is THE HUGE OAK TREE TABLE THAT IS BEAUTIFUL!! I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE THIS BIG EVER!!! STAYING AT THE ELM - WE HAD A KING JR SUITE WHICH WE REALLY ENJOYED!! EVERYTHING IN THIS HOTEL IS WORTH STAYING HERE FOR SURE!!! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED AT ALL!!! LOVED THIS PLACE-- WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE ANYTIME- I TOLD MY FRIENDS IN LITTLE ELM ABOUT HOW GOOD THE FOOD WAS AND THE ROOMS- SHE AND HER SISTERS ARE GOING TO GO EAT THERE WHEN THEY COME IN TIME NEXT TIME!!!

Check in was quick and easy, the room was nice and clean. The only complaint I had was the peep hole cover did not stay over the peep hole, so I ended up putting paper in it to ensure privacy. Outside of that service and everything else about the hotel was excellent.

Excellent hotel

This is the only place we will stay when we visit DFW.The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean, the rooms are clean, the beds are so comfortable. We would not think of ever staying anywhere else.

Parking was good, front desk was nice. Chef was good. Room was nice, shower was hot and was perfect. Bartender took forever, he looked up every recipe. Did get our drinks until the food came out. That’s how slow he was. Floors were sticky at the restaurant. Toilet rim on the floor looked dirty. Yellow stains around it. Looked gross.

Other than the check in being on the 4th floor, kinda weird, just loved this Boutique Hotel. I considered just a King bed bc my g-daughters stayed one night. Still had plenty of room. Only complaint was the night before flying out the remote to the TV was missing. That was a problem…
