I celebrated my birthday at Avenida Palace Hotel in February, and it was an unforgettable experience! The service was exceptional, and the special birthday surprise from the hotel made my stay even more memorable. We enjoyed live music in the lobby while admiring the beauty of the hotel's stunning historical interiors. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh-squeezed juices and a great selection of high-quality options. I highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and charming stay!

Great hotel. Fantastic staff

A great classic hotel. The staff, especially the bar manager and his staff, are fantastic. Everyone does everything they can to make the stay as comfortable as possible. I can’t say enough about the men and women who work here. And it’s a beautiful classic hotel so close to the downtown. Highly recommend the Avenida Palace

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is majestic. The staff is impeccable. They catered to our every need. Every day we came back to the room to find presents. It is in the middle of the square - dining and shopping are all in walking distance. Ask the concierge to help find a driver if you don't have anything set up and they will take you all over the countryside. It is affordable and they will give you a wonderful driver. I felt safe and welcomed here. I traveled with my special needs son and they were so welcoming. We will be back!

There are many 5 stars hotels, but the difference is in staff. This hotel has so helpful and nice staff that is just a pleasure talking to them. Hotel is older (there are some visible cracks) but very well maintained, clean and safe. Breakfast is amazing! Every time I travel to Lisbon I'm staying at that hotel. If you can afford the price, you should choose this one - you will not be sorry.

Old fashioned style

Hotel style was very dated. Spacious public areas but no one was in them so seemed deserted. No fun or vibe. Color of the walls leading to our room (pale yellow) was very cold. Room was depressing. Bathroom very cluttered with stuff and fixtures (toilet and shower) were old. Really didn't enjoy relaxing in the room.

This hotel was a real treat for our first visit to Lisbon. The staff was wonderful, the service was outstanding, and the location was perfect. The breakfast was top-notch for any breakfast you would get at a nice hotel, but it was especially good for a buffet. The staff in the cocktail lounge downstairs was attentive, friendly, and they made great drinks. We would definitely stay at the Hotel Avenida Palace again.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to my every need. The concierge was knowledgeable and helpful, and the housekeeping team kept my room spotless. One notable plus was the hotel's recent upgrade to new windows, which made a huge difference in reducing street noise. Despite being located near a busy train station, we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet our room was. While the hotel's decor and amenities may be a bit dated, we found it added to the property's character and charm. It was like stepping back in time, and we appreciated the unique experience. Spent 3 nights at this hotel and we loved it! Staffs are amazing and very friendly. Room was ready by noon. Tons of shops and restaurants around the hotel. Location is unbeatable, in the heart of everything! 15 mins walk to Time Out Market. 2 mins walk to the main shopping strip. Jazz performance every night between 7-8pm. Room is very clean and well maintained.
