The property is ideally located in the heart of Lisbon. The staff were a little indifferent to our needs. Three of us sharing a room and whilst a little thing the tea and coffee was only set up for two despite asking at reception twice. We replenished our tea bags from the all inclusive breakfast only to find on our return from shopping that housekeeping had had removed them taking us back to only two tea bags for the day! The towels and bedding were clean. Breakfast was poor. Lukewarm and limited hot options particularly for the vegetarian in our group. Basically only egg for her!

There was an unexpected long flight of stairs to get to the elevator, but the staff helped get luggage to the elevator. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very nice with air conditioning, clean, spacious and a view of Lisboa rooftops. The rooftop deck is where the included breakfast buffet was served. We enjoyed the coffee, food and expansive view which included St. George's Castle on the high hill. The rooftop was also a great place to enjoy a drink in the evening. The location is excellent for walking up the hill for fado, shopping, dining, great views, or to the river area to catch Tram 28, a tour boat or to wander, eat and shop.

Great spot in Lisbon

This is an interesting place: a bit hidden from the street, but nicely set up. The location is great - you can walk to a lot of attractions but it's also close to the metro. The roof top restaurant/bar is great for breakfast. If you are in a room at the front, keep your windows closed as there is a lot of activity on the street at night. I had an early departure and I appreciated the breakfast box delivered to my room early.

Short stay.

It was a one night stay and the location was great, easy to find, check in was quick and smooth and the staff was nice, professional, knowledgeable and very helpful (10/10). 2 single beds in a small room, but it had everything we wanted, it was comfortable, very clean and has a roof top view that was amazing. It offered food and drink but we didn’t use it. Elephant in the room is the stairs of the street that you have to go up, but the staff was very keen to help. Get over that and you’ll be very pleasantly surprised.

A great hotel at a very central place, cozy and hip; fantastic rooftop breakfast; very friendly staff. Without a working elevator, going up the steep stairs of an old building is quite a challenge... and it's tight for 4 people - and pricey, too!

The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. The elevator doesn't reach the top and is small, but if you don't mind the stairs, this is a great little place to stay, and the view from the rooftop breakfast is to die for.

Loved my stay at The Art Inn! The hotel is full of artistic charm, with cozy, beautifully decorated rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were warm and helpful, and the location is perfect — right in the heart of Lisbon. The highlight was the rooftop terrace, offering amazing views over the city — the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. Highly recommend!

This was a family trip. The ART INN Lisbon is in a great location. The rooftop bar and restaurant was something special to experience. They offered a great breakfast that was included with the room. When we checked in they sat us down and told us everything the city of Lisbon had to offer. That was really helpful.

Very shady location. Poor customer support. Below average breakfast. Location: Have to go through street with homeless ppl and a ton of trash. Yes, Rossio is a good place overall but no reviews talk about the shady part so I am calling it out. Customer service: hard to reach the customer support. Have to follow up many a times to get anything fixed. AC: air conditioning didn’t work. Had to get fans in the room which were ineffective. Phone in the room didn’t work. Had to message on WhatsApp for anything. Breakfast: only one rude lady with headphones on doing everything. Only a 2 cut fruits on a good day else just one. Subpar selection of everything else. The rooftop looks much much nicer in the pictures than it really is. There is no lift from the ground floor to the checking place. So get ready to carry your luggage. Rooms are nice and clean but rest could be improved a lot. Overall this is not a hotel. You don’t get 24h support.

Location was excellent as was the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Room was spacious and rooftop bar was beautiful. Location felt super safe given how close it is to Rossio square. We did have a small issue with our room which be brought to the attention of the staff and they were very understanding and accommodating in terms of a resolution. Only drawback would be the amount of stairs if you have mobility issues (however there is a lift once you get up the first floor of stairs). Overall would definitely recommend the Art for your stay is Lisbon! In the heart of everything with great rooms and staff

Lisbon city center is very busy! The location is great and walkable in every direction. There are a lot of stairs which I’m ok with but could challenge some. There is an elevator but it’s only designed for one person. Great rooftop breakfast, fun art throughout, and enjoyed the history displayed in the hallways!

This was mixed. Location: Excellent. Breakfast: excellent. My bed was comfortable. What wasn't so good were the stairs. There were no plugs really for charging phones and things. They advertise the rooftop for dinner and drinks, but the manager turns people away saying everything is reserved and yet you could be in and out well before the reservation arrives. We did get wine and appetizers and the wine was awful. The salad and appetizer not great either. The shower was hard to figure out. If you are young this hipster hotel would likely be a good fit but for my parents in their 80s it was a bit rough.
