Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The property itself is gorgeous, and the suite looked cute at first glance but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
The biggest issue was the strong mold smell throughout the suite. It was so intense that we couldn’t stay inside for long or sleep comfortably. I had constant sniffing, and scratchy eyes the entire time. Everything inside felt damp and musty, as if nothing had been properly cleaned or aired out in a long time.
There were also few maintenance items :
• The shower drain was clogged, so water would pool and take a long time to go down.
• The cold water tap in the bathroom was broken.
• The power extension used for the toaster, oven, and microwave seemed old and unsafe, as it sparked when plugging or unplugging, and should be replaced for safety. Not safe to connect three high wattage appliances to the same power strip.
Also, the listing mentioned a dryer, but there wasn’t one in the property. You need to pay €4 for washer and coordinate with owner.
It’s unfortunate because the place could be truly lovely place with its great design and potential. With proper cleaning, ventilation, and a few repairs, it could offer a much more comfortable and healthy stay.
