Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Upon arrival at the property, we were greeted by one of the hotel's front desk attendants - David. My friend and I did not find him to be welcoming, and quite cold - while you could chuck it up to nerves, there were other issues relayed which allowed for better reception.
During our stay, we requested an iron and ironing board which was provided, but then removed without our knowledge. Communication goes a long way.
Cleanliness was also an issue- towels were not replaced daily and I had to request new ones upon return to the hotel in the evening.Additionally, we found that the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned, along with the sheets not replaced, even with visibly stained pillow cases.
The power went out and the hallway lighting leaves much to be desired but if there was better staff communication and housekeeping, the score would be better.These issues were relayed this information to the front desk and I do not think that there were appropriate corrections and/or attention to rectify the situation within the time that we stayed, which was five days.
Although the location of the hotel and room size are appealing, all factors must be considered to ensure the best stay for guests.
