Duplex in the heart of Old Lisbon in Alfama, one of the most labyrinthine areas of the city. Surprise yourself in each of the narrow and winding alleys, full of life, smells and music, in one of the places where everyone gets lost.

It is a duplex studio with thirty-five square meters and air conditioning, located on the fourth and fifth floors on a building without lift.

With access by code, you can check in at any time

Building refurbished in 2018/2019 composed by 5 small studios with about 20 square meters each, in a building of 5 floors without elevator.

This Studio on the forth and fifth floor, consists of two levels with a double bed and a bathroom with shower on each floor and a sofa-bed and a kitchenette. Also has air conditioner

The kitchenette has an induction hob, fridge, washer and dryer and microwave.

Wifi is free over a fast 4g network

The building is 200 years old and has been carefully rehabilitated in 2018 and 2019 in order to preserve the various archaeological records found and this rehabilitation was accompanied by the archeology and anthropology services of the Lisbon City Hall.



Check-in and check-out times

Check-in time is between 17:00 and 22:00 on the start date of your booking unless another time has been agreed with us.

Check-out time is until 11:00 on the last day of your booking unless another time has been agreed with us. Unauthorized late departures will incur additional charges.

On the day of arrival, guests must present their identity documents (passport or identity card) to the owners.

By law, we are obliged to report some personal details of each guest to the Immigration and Borders Service (SEF).

Extra guests

The guest on whose behalf the booking was made must stay in the accommodation as we cannot accept bookings for other people.

As a family home, we have a no-smoking policy, so we ask that you do not smoke inside the property

What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when you stay in our home, we have a strict no drugs policy.

Pets

Although animals can be very well-behaved at home, how they will behave in a new space is not a given. And nobody wants to hear a dog barking at 2am or a cat meowing

Unfortunately, the costs of cleaning up after the animal are enormous in order to avoid allergies for the next guests.

And then there's the problem of smell: nobody who has an animal thinks their house smells bad. But anyone who enters the house will smell it immediately. The house would have to be open for 2 or 3 days for the smell to disappear and that's very expensive.

Any violation of this rule will incur an extra cleaning fee.

Parties

For us, the safety and well-being of hosts, guests and the community in general are a priority, so parties and events of any kind are forbidden in the apartment.

Airbnb and Booking take this issue so seriously that in the event of a complaint, the booking is canceled and the guest is not entitled to any compensation.

Garbage and recycling

Please dispose of your garbage in the bin on the day you leave the property. We appreciate your help in separating recyclable materials. The location of the garbage cans can be found in the House Manual.

This small step makes a big difference to the environment and will help us avoid a fine.

Before you leave, wash and put away the dishes and kitchen utensils you have used.

Accidents happen. If you damage something, let us know as soon as possible so that we can take care of it.

It is expensive to arrive at the property and discover damage that could lead to your next stay being canceled because there is no time to repair it. In this case, we will request a compensation

Such an amazing location. It was right in Alfama making it easy walking but still quiet. The place was super clean. I didn’t use the kitchen really since there were so many great restaurants and coffee shops. I would definitely stay here again. The stairs are steep so plan ahead with bags!
