The tourist municipal tax, in the amount of €2, is applied per night and per guest, from the age of 13, up to a maximum of 3 nights per stay.
The collection and settlement of the tourist tax must be paid to the management of the local accommodation.
This tax is intended to be applied to projects, studies, equipment, or infrastructure that have an impact on the quality of tourism in the Municipality of Sintra from a perspective of sustainable growth in the long term.
