Such a nice little place. We spent a part of our honeymoon here. Have promised to stay here again if we come back to Lisbon. Greatly recommend the Suite Terrace Castle view room (Rossio Terrace) The only let down was the breakfast - only sweets offered and no hot food. If staying here, go to a restaurant for breakfast.

What an incredibly beautiful property! Casa Balthazar is located right behind (above) the train station in the heart of downtown Lisbon. There are numerous shops and restaurants close by. The property offers amazing service and the rooms are modern, clean, and very big. Their breakfast buffet is healthy and really delicious and there is no shortage of finding coffee, tea, or bottled water. The staff is awesome, friendly, and very helpful! This is truly a 10/10!

A Wonderful Stay in Lisbon

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like honored guests. Our bags were taken upstairs for us while we received a tour of the property. We couldn’t resist the offer of cake and coffee before we went to our room. We booked the Panoramic Room with a sweeping view of Lisbon. It was spacious, very clean and quiet and had a well stocked kitchenette. The staff is very accommodating and attentive. Diego was always attentive to guests needs. Would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

This was a beautiful small boutique hotel.the staff we dealt with were all very kind and our jacuzzi suite was small but very tasteful. The breakfast was simple but incredibly tasty as was the cake they make daily. I found it very pricey however for what you get and we saw equally beautiful more reasonably priced hotels in the same are.

Had an absolutely amazing stay at Casa Balthazar! I stayed at Jacuzzi III room and it was stunning! Staff were so kind and helpful, Diogo provided me a tour of the place when I first arrived. I had breakfast delivered to my room and enjoyed dining on the balcony with great views of the city and castle. The spa and amenities were great and very relaxing. One thing to note is that the place was a bit hard to find / drive into as it is a one way narrow cobble stone road to get to the entrance of the stay. Would highly recommend, thanks again Casa Balthazar and staff for a wonderful stay!

The most beautiful environment. The hotel feels like you are living in a countryside home in Portugal, yet you are in the middle of the bustling city. Clean, staff beyond polite/kind. We cant wait to return in May.
