Needs deeper cleaning perfect otherwise

Was perfect and the lake was so pretty. Very clean comfy room and bed. Only problem was the floors needed washing, the sink was a little dirty and the tub needed more than a wipe down. It had some hair and soap scum ring.

The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. Several houseflies as fellow occupants however. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but decent value for what I paid. I didn't use the pool or spend much time on the patio overlooking the river, but they looked quite lovely. Breakfast was very basic, but okay.

One of the best experiences I've ever had at a motel! The staff was absolutely amazing. We stayed here with our softball team for a tournament. This will be our go to spot if we play here again!!!

Nice location right on the river with a room facing the river and places to sit and enjoy it. Beautiful courtyard area. Slim continental breakfast and no lids for coffee cups were the really only downsides of this property. Very reasonably priced and more luxurious than usual washcloths and towels.

Very nice place to stay

The owner was very accommodating and we were sent a text when we got in our room asking if we needed anything to reply back to it. We did, asking for the Wi-Fi code, which was promptly answered. All hotels should have this feature as this was the first we’ve come across that did and we travel a great deal for business. The area is on the outskirts of town I’d say, and very quiet, which we like. We felt safe, which is always a plus. Thanks for your hospitality and when in the area, we’ll stay here again.

This hotel could use some serious TLC . Has not been updated as stated . The Room was not very clean . The person at the desk asked if I wanted to pay $20 a night more for a lakefront view. That was not offered on web site. The only nice thing was the pool .

Rooms were not freshly cleaned. There was mud and bugs on the floor and we had to ask for towels. Older property—rooms need TLC. Beds comfortable. Outside is beautiful. Need better breakfast to justify price point. Room keys were turned off way before checkout time when we were trying to load the car.

Office staff are friendly and helpful! Our room was clean and very comfortable! Pool was great! And the view of Lake Martin plus their landscape was the tranquility I much needed! I had to stay another night do to severe weather and they did what was needed and didn’t have to change rooms!! We plan on making this are get away when needed!!
