Lepus Lodge is situated adjacent to the county showground and within 3 miles of RAF Scampton, home of the famous Red Arrows display team. Doddington Hall, Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest, Hemswell Antique Centres and the coast are all in easy reach. Use of a tennis court and easy walking. Shop 3 miles. Pub 2½ miles.

A special place

It was so relaxing, there’s most things you need for a break as the cabin is well thought out, but those views were tremendous. The Red arrows and hares a bonus to what was a lovely few days winter break. The dog had a field day, literally.

A delightful log cabin maintained to the highest standards. A peaceful, relaxing retreat.

The log cabin is extremely comfortable. Everything was provided to make our stay enjoyable and in addition to all the furniture and equipment we could need there were many, thoughtful extra touches. The cabin is sited in a quiet spot on a farm, surrounded by great views. It is also an ideal base for visiting Lincoln (a short car journey away) and The Wolds. The owners are very welcoming and clearly take great pride in maintaining the log cabin to a high standard. It was spotlessly clean. We would certainly like to return to Lepus Lodge to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and relaxing atmosphere.
