We did not receive the VIP perks, such as the free beverage, that were part of our reservation offer. Also, we did not have bath towels in our room the first day. We had to request that they be brought to our room. Likewise, there was a problem with the bathtub not draining, so we had to request someone to come fix the problem. Considering we booked one of the property's premium rooms, these sorts of details should have been tended to without our having to bring them up. Other than the above issues, the quality of the hotel and service by the staff was adequate. The breakfast was great, though the coffee left a lot to be desired. The dining room staff was especially attentive. Perhaps the best part of this property is the location. Very central to dining, shopping, and quite walkable. The area felt safe, as well.

I like that is closer to everything, I was able to walk to restaurants, shooping and attractions. I saw a lot police present and it was good. I did not like the hotel. It look so different to the pictures. They gave us a room that has a sauna inside. I did not requested it , this room was smelly and moldy. I guess saunas smell like this. I did not complained because I was there less than 48 hours. Breakfast was good. The young lady at the breakfast room was very nice and kind.

WARNING: Avoid Antara Hotel in Lima Extremely old, poorly maintained hotel. A/C didn’t work — one room flooded due to a leaking portable unit. Staff “fixed” it but problem returned. Breakfast is very basic and only decent on weekends. Worst part: at check-out they falsely accused us of breaking the room safe (which was already broken when we arrived) and charged $100. Despite our explanations, they refused to listen. This was a scam. No privacy in bathrooms, outdated facilities, dishonest staff. Check and report everything or risk being blamed.

Everything was dated. That old smell when you enter the bedrooms, either that or something that they spray that smells like home pesticide. Food was okay, but i noticed my whole 4 day stay that they serve same little pastry tarts. The spa is little misleading, they actually don't have spa facility, they just meant about the jacuzzi in each bedrooms, nothing more. Overall below average for me and bit disappointing.

The location was excellent. The room was very spacious. I like the breakfast food. It is what the value of money. But if you like better smell. You should pay more and go somewhere else. My first impression was underwhelming, everything was dated. The smell was so old as it looks. On our arrival, we had to request a machine that neutralise the horrible smell. Also there is another smell that they spray and it smells like a pesticide for spiders or cockroaches. It was really disappointing.
