Situated on Wolgan Road at Lidsdale, 20 minutes west of Lithgow.

Four bedroom house sleeps up to ten. Two queen, one double, four k/single beds plus a sitting area great for kids. There is also a spacious dining/lounge room and a sunny verandah. Two bathrooms, one being disabled friendly. Fully equipped kitchen including diswasher, a laundry with a washing machine and dryer. Air-conditioning/heating. With Electric blankets also provided.

Large enclosed yard, plenty of room to run around with lots of off street parking available.

Lidsdale is only:
- 5 minutes to Wallerawang
- 15 minutes to Portland
- 15 minutes to Rydal
- 50 minutes to Newnes
- 50 minutes to Katoomba
- 50 minutes to Bathurst

Perfect as Always

My family and I stayed at the old postie for the week, as we had previously stayed. Again, it was perfect for what we required. Plenty of room for the kids and perfectly central to everything to see and do in the wider area. We will definitely be back. Pat is a tremendous host!

Quiet and convenient

We chose to stay at The Old Postie Lidsdale as it was convenient to our event in the Blue Mountains and our trip home from our holiday in the Central West. Patricia was a very attentive host who made sure everything was ready for our arrival. She generously provided the makings of a meal for us. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the nights were peaceful, despite being near some busy roads.

Rustic homestead

A quiet location, about 15 mins past Lithgow. Accommodation was comfortable and warm even though it was around 2° overnight. A substantial breakfast was in the fridge on arrival. Our stay was to babysit the small grandchildren so house was a good size for that.

A wonderful homely feel

The Old Postie is a fantastic place to relax. Very peaceful and plenty of room for the kids to roam and explore. Plus it has all the creature comforts of home! Pat is an amazing host!! We will definitely be back.

Great family stay

This place is a real gem to stay in near Newnes- old world charm, plenty of room for 10 and very well stocked with goodies. Pat even provided breakfast the first morning and was contactable if we needed anything. We will be back
