We had the very unusual experience of checking in after driving through a frightening severe thunder storm with hail and flash floods that had the highway at a complete stop. When we arrived at the facility all power was out to places at that exit including the hotel. The lady checking us in named Amara was amazing. She was having to check to make sure no one was stuck in the elevator and checking people in without power and dealing with people who wanted to cancel their reservation. We were able to still check into the rooms because the door locks are battery powered. The lights unfortunately went out (they were under reserve but then that went out) in the one stairwell which the guests had to use so we had to have flashlights to get up and down the stairs. It got warm and humid in the room during the night without power and air-conditioning but was manageable. I really wish I could have seen the room with the lights on- it seemed really nice with what I was able to see through the light at the window. The bed was soft and comfortable. Amara gave us free waters for the inconvenience. She was really amazing and tried to make sure everyone was ok in a really hard situation. We left the next morning before the power came back on. I gave this location a great starred review because ultimately the people working at the facility and how they treat me and other guests is the most important part of the stay.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast could have been better, no bacon or sausage, just ham. Waffles were great! Service was great and speedy! Would stay again.

Love that the shower has the sliding glass door! The room is very nice and efficiently laid out. Love the laminate floors over the carpeted flooring that is usually so nasty. Nice breakfast served too.
