This is my second time staying in the past 2 weeks. Our first visit was really good...until they locked us out of our room 45 min before check out time...we had to go get our key fixed because our bags were still in the room. Then while we did get back in to get our belongings they were knocking on the door to clean the room again before check out time. The room was great and clean. We decided to stay again...this time we were put in the first floor. Again great room Clean an cozy....but getting woken up to a childs loud screaming wasnt the best.

This was a beautiful, quiet property located in a nice area. Our first time to Bangor & we'll definitely be staying here again. The staff was great & they had a good selection for breakfast.

We have stayed at the Black Bear several times over 6 years and always find the facility and rooms very clean. We really like that we can make our own Belgium waffles in the morning at the continental breakfast.

Friendly and clean! And the breakfast was well stocked and a friendly women cleaned all the time and re-stocked. I like the wooden floors which is much cleaner than carpet!
