Not luxury but what I needed. Clean and affordable. I liked the staff. Owner was friendly and woman at front desk was sweet and helpful. Its Verdun, there aint alot of glamour here but if you want a "Fine" hotel, you are going to pay 100 + Euros. If you want a one night stand, Colombes is a decent place at a good price.

Handy for Verdun
If you are visiting Verdun and area, this hotel should certainly be considered.
Room located across the backyard, need to pass by the garbage and laundry containers to access (bad odors). Only 1 electric outlet in the room ! Shower is separated from rest of bathroom (no place to hang clothes). I could not believe such place still exist in the 21st century. Room price should not exceed 40 euros per night.

Basic and clean
One star is one star. Very basic room. Flourescent lights, simple bed, tv and ensuite WC. Spotlessly clean. The big positive was a small terrace with a table. Perfect for escaping the room and enjoying the evening.

Verdun visit
Good location bit basic but clean and friendly service
Great a family room was provided and we liked the location. Disappointed with the quality of the room in terms of decor and presentation. The room, and hotel in general, needs refurbishment.

Old hotel, small rooms but clean.
Only problem we had, we got there late at night and it was closed. Luckily the restaurant next door was able to contact the owner to get us into our rooms. parking on the street in front of the hotel, bakery across the street, restaurant next door, very quiet at night. We were there on cool nights, but no a/c.
Great value for money, but do realize a small room no elevator. Easy walking distance from train or to downtown -which is really a neat place. Is an older building but well maintained for its age.

Basic but good
Basic hotel, but clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was a little sparse but the food was good.
A fair price in an area with few hotels, garage security a bonus. There are a lot of steep stairs to get to your room but we knew this so this is not a complaint, just a piece of advice for those who have difficulty walking.
Jusst the one night stay.
Being a 1 star hotel and cheap i wasnt expecting alot.
I wasnt dissapointed.
Very basic and very small twin room.
Clean rooms though and very small bathroom with no bath, but a very nice shower.
Has a basement garage.
Good location to the centre. Only a 5 minute walk.
6 Euro breakfast was very basic with no real choice. You are given a tray of a piece of bread, a croissant a small madeline cake. with jam!
2 patisseries right across the road would have been a better place to grab some breakfast.
No lounge area.
No restaurant, but a few close by that were good
Helpful stafff though.
So good for an over night stay and not much else.
They considered us to be on the second floor however it was the third floor....all spiral steep stairs. They had wifi but it did not work on the second floor. It was really old and it looked like they tried to fix it up but it just was lacking in all departments.
