Wer Kreta abseits der Touristenströme erleben will, ist hier genau richtig. Ruhige Lage mit einer herrlichen Aussicht. Wunderbar zum Erholen.

Nous pensions avoir réservé une chambre, il s'agissait en fait d'un appartement avec 2 couchages pour 2 personnes, 2 salles de bain, une cuisine, salon et surtout une grande terrasse avec une superbe vue sur la vallée et la mer. Un peu difficile à trouver surtout quand on arrive de nuit mais accueil très agréable. Confortable, propre et très calme. Petite piscine bien agréable pour se rafraîchir. On peut prendre un repas ou un petit déjeuner chez Maria, une petite taverne juste à côté. Bien situé pour visiter les environs.

Burgcharakter mit grandiosen Ausblick
Das Hotel lag auf dem Rücken eines Bergkammes, inmitten eines sehr ursprünglichen Ortes, die Fahrt zum Hotel lies uns die Köpfe schütteln... positiv abenteuerlich! Sofort bestaunten wir den wundervoll Blick bis an die Küste und die hohen Berge. Unser Zimmer (Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer mit Küchenbereich) war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Der Poolbereich liegt ab 16 Uhr im kühlen Schatten und bietet nach den heissen Tagen eine schöne Abkühlung. Das Hotel wird gegenwärtig vergrößert, die Baumaßnahmen sind für den Hotelgast aber nicht spürbar. Wir können das Hotel jedem empfehlen, der die ursprüngliche Lebensart Kretas sucht.

A DREAM (if you have a car)
A peaceful, quite and remote little dream Villa that is situated off the main tourist spots at the very end of a tiny mountain village. Lying right betwenn Chania and Iraklion, it is the perfect base for day trips to all the commendable places in middle and west Crete (as long as you have a car). The next beach is about 4 km away with nice sand, beach bars but not too many people.
The two story Villa we stayed (No. 1) is one of 4 houses in the so called "central complex" and comprises of a huge living room with a neat little kingsize bed build into one side of the wall (with a view along the hillside down to the coast line) plus a kittchen and one bathroom (including a washing machine) on the ground floor and the master bedroom plus another fully equiped bathroom on the top floor.
You can enjoy your breakfast and the view from no less than three balconies or cool down in one of the two pools right in front of your door. Although you share those pools with the other buildings it always felt like they would have been our private ones since you barely saw anybody else around.
You absolutely can trust the pictures here to get a feeling how it looks like. It IS exactly like shown in the pictures and even better in real life. Especially it has the exact feeling you want from an original mediteranean house but with a level of cleanliness and comfort you would probably not expect in the hills of Crete.
