A beautiful, fully-renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cozy attached guest house in Downtown Mount Dora. Includes fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove, refrigerator, dual sinks, toaster & coffee maker.

Each bedroom has a king-sized bed. An extra twin-sized bed is available, if needed. There is a make-up/hair station in each bedroom, which includes a large mirror, desk with a drawer, chair, hairdryer, extra outlets, and a make-up mirror. Living room has flat screen HDTV with Roku, Xfinity streaming included, WIFI and a very comfortable leather recliner couch.

“Under the Palms” was a wonderful place to stay.The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The VRBO itself was neat and clean and equipped with everything you would need to stay. The location is exceptional! Very close to downtown Mount Dora with all of its wonderful restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again.

A hop, skip and jump, the proximity of downtown Mt Dora from this accommodation is a 2-minute walk. Restaurants, quaint gift-shops and most especially a boardwalk with nature tails bordering Lake Mt Dora await.

I rented the space for my adult son and daughter-in-law and her disabled mother for Thanksgiving and it was such a wonderful experience. It is close to downtown and you can enjoythe beautiful Mt. Dora Christmas lights.

If you are going to Mt. Dora, this is the place to stay! Randy and Lu Anne, the owners, are lovely people who answer any question within seconds! The property is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Nice Adirondack chairs that we took advantage of outside every night and early morning with coffee. Being 1 block from the village is an added bonus. Convenient to all shopping and dining and sightseeing. I could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay with my 90 year old mother. Should I return I will certainly book this gem again!

This is an adorable little cottage that’s part of a triplex. The parking space is perfect. The home is easy to get in and out of. It is within walking distance of downtown Mt. Dora and the lake. Randy and LuAnne were wonderful to work with and the whole process from start to finish was seamless. I would definitely recommend this VRBO home for anyone visiting Mt. Dora. I, too, plan to stay “Under the Palms” again!

Great Mt Dora property

Great Location and Great Hosts

House was very close to downtown Mount Dora, which is what we were looking for, park the vehicle and walk everywhere. Pictures could not have been spot on anymore then they were, walking into the home was like walking in to the pictures. Hosts were very nice and easy to work with, we will be back to Mount Dora and will utilize "Under the Palms" again.
