We had the best time.

From the beginning the coms with Xavier were really good with him getting back to us almost immediately. Like all châteaus we have stayed in there is always someone on site. Artur was lovely giving us fresh produce from the garden and we loved the dogs. The kitchen has everything that you need for a large group. The outside is perfect for family dining, BBQ and pizzas (get advice if you haven't worked one before). The pool is really secure and was thoroughly enjoyed. We bought some extra fans as it was very hot. Le Fleix has a shop in walking distance for essentials and large supermatkets within 5k. We were 11 adults with a 2.6 year old and 6 month old. We used the games room and had a fabulous time.

Le Fleix Family Holiday

Delighted by first impression and by overall grandeur of the property. Warmly welcomed by Xavier and his daughter Julia who could not be more helpful. All rooms light and airy and tastefully decorated, and very well appointed kitchen. Games room kept all occupied and the pool was in constant use - the pool size made a positive difference. Outside eating area perfect for family gatherings. Thank you Xavier

Very spacious

A lovely welcome from our property manager and the caretaker was very helpful when we had a medical problem with one of the teenagers. The pool was well looked-after although the sunbeds had seen better days and need new cushions as there weren't any. The property was large and fitted our family of 14 comfortably. A few more fans in the bedrooms needed and velux windows that open for more ventilation. Lots of interesting villages and markets nearby to visit and kayaking and paddleboarding down the Dordogne was idyllic.

Fabulous, spacious home in Dordogne

Perfect home to accommodate 19 people easily. Lovely outside seating areas with BBQ & pizza oven. So much space for us all. Activities galore with large pool, volleyball, ping pong and so much more. Xavier (host) was amazing, very helpful & excited to share the history of his beautiful home. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect for the whole family

What can I say? Absolutely beautiful property perfect for large families. Enough space to not be under each others feet but plenty of spaces to all sit together. The pool is the largest I’ve come across and the outside kitchen/bbq area was perfect for evenings. Arthur the caretaker deserves a special mention. Nothing was too much trouble and the kids all cried when we had to leave him! Xavier was a fantastic host, helpful prior to arriving with any questions and a lovely welcome on arrival. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Fab family holiday

Superb in every way possible. So grateful for charming owner's personal attention and help too. Lovely pool, barbecue and pizza area, huge kitchen garden, excellent petanque court, lots of games, and very comfortable house.

Vacances en Dordogne

Cette propriété convient très bien à une semaine de vacances familiales, grands espaces, piscine, trampoline, salle de jeux pour les enfants. Le problème ce sont les intrusions régulières du gardien avec ses 2 bergers allemands, ainsi que les visites du propriétaire pour problèmes électricité etc..le gardien nous explique qu’à l’heure du repas il visionne les vidéos des caméras...vous n’êtes pas du tout à l’aise, ne sachant jamais quand ils vont surgir ( ils sont à 2 Pas). C’est regrettable sans compter l’heure de départ affiché à 11h mais le propriétaire arrive à 9h.pas).

Incroyable

De la réservation à l'état des lieux de sortie tout s'est parfaitement passé. Que ce soit l'extérieur ou l'intérieur il y a un vrai charme. Les chambres sont vraiment tout confort. Nous avons passé la quasi totalité de notre temps autour de la piscine ou sous le salon d'été. La salle de jeu est incroyable. Nous en avons aussi profité pour découvrir la région avec du canoé sur la Dordogne.

Que du bonheur partagé dans ce cadre merveilleux

Notre rêve s’est fait réalité dans cette splendide Chartreuse : nous avons réunis nos familles respectives, 3 générations, dans ce cadre idéal, en ayant pris soin de ne pas dévoiler le lieu exact afin de laisser l’effet de surprise agir…c’est ce qui s’est passé dès leur arrivée ! Tout est parfaitement bien équipé et joliment décoré, les pièces sont spacieuses, harmonieuses et confortables.Nous avons bien profité de la cuisine et des différents espaces qui invitent à prendre le petit déjeuner, l’apéritif, les repas…dans la beauté de murs chargés d’histoire et des vues dégagées sur les arbres et la nature de la propriété. Enfin, la piscine, les terrains de jeux et la salle de jeux furent pleinement appréciés par grands et petits. Un grand merci au propriétaire, passionnant et passionné, charmant et à l’écoute en tous moments, ainsi qu’au gardien Arthur complètement disponible pour rendre le séjour encore plus agréable.

Excellent séjour

parfait

la maison était en parfaite adéquation avec notre besoin et notre recherche . le propriétaire est très à l'écoute de ses locataires. c'est un lieu idéal pour une grande famille grâce à une surface habitable impressionnante et des dépendances avec plein de ressources de jeux pour les adultes et les enfants. de plus la piscine est d'une très grande taille.

Excellent séjour dans une maison superbe

C'est l'endroit idéal pour une réunion familiale ou entre amis. La maison est superbe, bien équipée, immense. Très belle piscine. Bons commerces à proximité (boucher/charcutier, boulangerie, maraîcher). Un grand merci à Xavier pour son accueil et à Arthur le gardien pour sa gentillesse (on s'est régalés avec les œufs du poulailler et les mirabelles du jardin)
