Laurelville is a small town on the western end of the Hocking Hills. It is mostly made up of nice farmers and kind hearted and others.hill people. The closest larger towns are Logan, Lancaster, Circleville, and Chillicothe.

Must be 25 years or older to rent this property. The guest on the reservation must be present at check-in with a photo ID which matches address and credit card used. The booking guest must be present during the complete stay.

Guests have access to hiking our trails along with the functional fitness stations and meditation areas throughout our 58-acre nature preserve. We do not allow fishing, swimming, or hunting on the property. While you are here, we want you to feel completely welcomed and free to explore around the property while doing your best to leave the smallest footprint possible. Whippoorwill birds lay eggs on the ground, here, without a nest so please watch your step. It is important to stick to traveling on trails when hiking throughout the forest. Please practice leave no trace ethics on the preserve.


This 4000 square foot Art Lodge is just an hour from Columbus, Ohio and less than 2 miles from the local Hocking Hills town, Laurelville. So, you can get groceries, gas, supplies, buy local cider, and visit 6 family-owned restaurants less than a 5-minute drive away. Located on a 58-acre nature preserve, the Art lodge has a hot tub, sauna, and other modern luxe amenities.

We, Dustin and Raven, the owners of Sculptdecor, custom art, created much of what you will see in the Art Lodge, including the kitchen and bathrooms. The metal sculptures, wood carvings, and hand-painted murals show our passion for nature.

This lodge features Starlink WiFi with speeds up to 200 MBPS, ensuring you stay connected while enjoying your time in nature. Starlink is the best internet in the Hocking Hills!

The Unique Art Lodge comfortably sleeps up to 16 guests in 6 uniquely designed bedrooms, each featuring custom headboards and eco-friendly luxe linens. 5 of the 6 bedrooms offer ample closet space, with reading lamps and bedside tables in all rooms. All bedrooms have custom sculpted lighting fixtures.


Downstairs in bedroom 6, with the 3 twin beds, you will find a Smart TV with Hulu Live, Netflix, and a vintage gaming console with games from the 80's and 90's.

We prioritize guest wellness by having the Art Lodge cleaned by professional cleaners who use eco-friendly products, pay a fair wage, and have serious attention to detail.  While we adore animals, we currently cannot accommodate domestic animals due to our resident senior dog, Peanut, who you may see somewhere on the property during your stay.

For art enthusiasts, the Sculptdecor Shop, run by master sculptor Dustin Weatherby, is not far from the Art lodge. Dustin specializes in animatronics, steel sculptures, wood carvings, mixed media sculptures, and starting in 2025, will offer live art performances and experience packages for guests. Feel free to stop by the shop and say hello—our home is on the same 58-acre property. Although you cannot see our home from the Art Lodge, we're always nearby to assist you.

Important: Before you arrive, you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Superhog. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Superhog will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please complete the verification process prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

You will also be asked to purchase a $35 damage waiver via third party provider Superhog, which will protect you and your group in case of accidental damage of up to $500 during your stay. We understand accidents happen; this lessens stress on all people involved.

Ravens Retreat Hocking Hills a little under 2 miles, East of Laurelville. Drive up a heavily wooded Thompson Ridge Road and you will see us on the South side. About a half mile down our private driveway are 12 parking spots surrounding the Art Lodge. Parking is always free.

Starlink wifi, the best coverage in the Hocking Hills, is installled. It potentially could have a pause in service but only during really heavy storms.

The black wood stove downstairs within the Art Lodge is for LOOKS ONLY; no fires are permitted within the stove.

There is one small senior dog, a jack russell terrier mix named Peanut that lives on the 58-acre preserve. If you happen to see him while staying at the Art Lodge, he may steal your heart. He is friendly with humans and knows how to charm for snacks. Big time! Peanut does not do well with other domestic animal companions, so we ask that you do not bring them to the Art Lodge.

No trash, liquid chemical fire starters, or cigarette butts are allowed in the firepit. Hosts will supply Firestarter.

Keep your fires within the fire pit at all times and no higher than 2 feet.

A four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended during the snowy weather.

Exterior security cameras are in use at this property front door and near the parking area.
