Enjoyable Stay

When checking in & out, the front desk clerks were very friendly & pleasant. The room was clean & comfy. The bathroom area had a nice size sink with the toilet & shower in a separate "room" with a door. The door opened into the toilet/shower room & left very little wiggle room. The tv remote was a bit frustrating to use. My friend & I went to Triple 7 Restaurant within the hotel. Again, friendly staff. The property is walking distance from Fremont Street. It was surprisingly busy in Main Street, although not one of the Fremont facing properties. I'd stay there again.

Quiet, poor view, tight bathroom, but nice.

It was quiet. Stayed on the 3rd floor with a "lovely" view of the casino roof and the trash on it. Bathroom was so small that you could barely get into it and shut the door without some contortions. Not really safe for an elderly person. Pillows were a bit hard, but the bed was nice.

Nice except for tight bathroom

The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Pillows not so much! The air conditioner is regulated not to go below 61 degrees. This would be okay, if the room ever reached that temperature. We were on the 16th floor overlooking the highway. We have previously stayed in many locations in Vegas. Compared to most "Fremont" downtown hotels, this one was quieter without hearing the Fremont Experience bands play until 2am. The noise from the highway was minimal with the exception of a siren or very load motorcycle. The only quirky thing about this room is the bathroom. The toilet and shower share a closed door area. To close the door, it is so tight, that one has to straddle the toilet. We were not asked about maid service and only received it our first night and none after that, for the duration our three night stay. Pleasantly, the casino doesn't have piped in music that some of the other casinos are now doing. The hotel is part of the Boyd group, but the rewards such as the meal premiums only worked at the hotel that you got your card. I think that since they are called Boyd's rewards, they should work universally in all their casinos. I got mine at the California because the one at Main Street was never open. Luckily, the restaurant choices are decent at the California (connected by a covered bridge on the second floor).

I was absolutely impressed about this location. Clean and quiet (in the context of proximity to Fremont street experience), large rooms, excellent maintained with a vibe of the “old West” in the concierge area.

Tldr highly recommend

It was what I expected. Clean room with a view, i had a mini fridge, a safe, and a rather large television. Looked like a 70in! Housekeeping was polite, respected my do not disturb sign. I chose the lesser speed wifi because it was free, and it was more than adequate. Highly recommend! For what I paid, a tremendous value.

Really disappointed with late night options Told the restaurant would be back at 930.. when we got there no longer serving food Had to leave property to find something else. Really was looking forward to the steak and potatoes special.

We like how the old unique looked of the bldg. The wood carvings on the ceilings is so unique. The only thing that bothered our stay was the AC, it made a loud noise in the middle of our sleep. But otherwise everything was great. definitely will book again here.
